Explore the nearby Thorncombe Woods or Puddletown forest, and discover great walks for all the family. Find ancient Roman roads, wild ponies and hidden ponds, perfect for lighting up the imagination of little ones.

There are several acres to explore including a nature trail and a willow den, and lots of fun to be had with the trampoline, football nets and swings.
We have two tennis courts which have seen family championships and tournaments between cottage neighbours. Racquets and balls available.
Wooden play house, an absolute treasure trove of toys and games for toddlers and young children.
This organic vegetable patch and pick your own fruit area is a particularly popular activity for little people, and guests keen for some local produce.
For our four-legged guests we provide a fully enclosed dog exercise area, perfect for a gentle morning stroll before setting out for the day.

Guests are welcome to collect the extra tasty eggs from our free-roaming hens for a delicious Greenwood Grange breakfast.
