2026 Re-opening!

13/02/2026

Welcome back to Greenwood Grange!

2025 was our best year yet, but 2026 is set to be even bigger ⭐️

Our team have been super busy during our closed period. Several of the cottages have had kitchen makeovers, with our fabulous Design Team in charge of the renovations.

Our team have also been cracking on with the jobs that seem less interesting but make a huge difference to the feel of the Estate. They have been sanding down and oiling worktops, filling and repainting wood and touching up paint on walls and furniture. It’s these fiddly jobs that take ages that have the biggest impact. Everything is now looking shiny and fresh ready for half term!

Rainy Day Activities

Rain Rain go away!

If you’ve ever wondered ‘will it ever stop raining?’ you are not alone!

Luckily, Dorset has a brilliant selection of rainy day activities, perfect for all the family. We love the Dorset Museum in Dorchester.

If you buy a ticket you will get entry to the museum for a whole year! As well as being very interesting for adults and anyone interested in history, the museum is also the perfect place to take little ones. As you can see here, Fred loves it. The museum has plenty of interactive exhibits and experiences. The cafe is also great too!

Biggest (& best!) Fish and Chips Around…

We will let you in on a little secret if you promise not to tell anybody…

In the quieter seasons, Rockfish in Weymouth holds a £10 fish and chip night once a month - usually on a Wednesday.

You’ll need to book a table in advance, as it is a hotly ancipated evening! Keep an eye out on their email newsletter for dates.

The fish varies each event and is always incredible - and fantastic value. For £10 you get a huge portion of sustainability caught fish, mushy peas, home made tartar sauce and UNLIMITED chips!!
