January News

12/01/2026

Welcome to the New Year!

We are officially closed for January while we carry out all of our loud jobs! We really value the peace and tranquility of Greenwood Grange for our guests so since taking over we have closed in January to allow us to do all the loud jobs without disturbing anyone.

Joe has been busy removing the very large Leylandii hedge next to Coomb Barton. It has been a big job but it has opened up the driveway for Coomb Barton, making accesibility and parking much easier.

Tree-cycling

A large tree fell down in the playing field during Storm Goretti. We didn’t really realise how big the tree was until it was down!

Joe has been safely remvoing the tree and using the chainsaw to cut it down.

The logs from the tree will then be dried and used by our guests in the logburners next winter.

Not-so-baby Agnes

Little Agnes is 5 months old now! Can you believe it.

She is doing so well and is developing her big girl coat now. Shes super fluffy and looks like she is wearing flares on her legs.

She has been on lots of adventures with Jacqui and has been up to Exeter with her to drop Jacqui’s daughter off at uni.

Agnes is doing a great job at socialising with other dogs and has been loving walkies in the forest.
