Kitchen updates for our cottages

We take feedback very seriously. When the lovely assessor from Visit England stopped by and said ‘those kitchens would look great in a new colour’ we jumped at the chance to customise our cottages and bring some fun into the colour palettes.

The first kitchen that we started was Henchard. Previously all cream, with cream walls and skirting boards, we decided a warm, modern colour would suit this cottage well. The colour of choice was Farrow & Ball Sulking Room Pink. We loved the dusky, iconic shade of pink, but also wanted to support a fellow Dorset brand. F&B paint is still made right here in Dorset.

Nick and Jacqui have been hard at work removing the cupboard doors, sanding them down and a lot of painting. My dad, Rich, installed new up and down-lighting in the kitchen too, to bring a modern touch.
